Less than 72 hours after having finished the Haute Randonnée Pyrénéenne, a train — ferry — train ride delivered me to Corsica, France to start my hike of the GR20. Ten days later I found myself in Conca after a nice walk along the spine of Corsica, taking all the high level variants on the GR20. I would not agree with the “hardest trail in Europe” tagline, but it was harder than I expected, but still a great time.
