I kept a journal throughout my hike, and posted a trip report here. Sometimes it contains a semi-coherent story. At other points there are just random, one time observations of what occurred throughout the day.
Nothing earth shattering is inside this journal. It merely recounts the daily life of one individual who happened to be hiking the CDT south in 2012. You will not find the meaning of life or God by hiking through the woods anyway. God is found in the Bible and church Sunday morning. The meaning of life can be found there too, along with family.
If you are having trouble falling asleep though, this might be a worthwhile read.
